Bidford-on-Avon’s historic bridge has been closed to all vehicular traffic after an
Uber driver collided with the structure, leaving his car stuck in the middle of the bridge.
According to the Bidford-on-Avon council, the impact caused damage to the bridge, leading to its closure for vehicles. However, with signed diversions in place, access remains open to pedestrians and cyclists. Car parks located both north and south of the bridge continue to operate, ensuring that local businesses remain accessible.
