Police have arrested five men and charged four with being concerned in the supply of drugs after officer carried out warrants in #Walsall.
Officers from our County Lines Taskforce team, supported by Walsall officers, carried out three search warrants early this morning.
Five men were arrested on suspicion of being active members in operating a drugs line.
Police seized evidence relating to drugs supply and discovered £20,000 across the three premises including a number of weapons.
Mohammed Jabbar Nadeem, aged 23, of Darlaston Road, Walsall, was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Rohail ALI, aged 25, of Rutter Street, Walsall was also charged with concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of diamorphine.
A 17-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and two counts of being concerned in the supply of diamorphine. He was also charged with one count of being in possession of criminal property.
Zubair Mahmood, aged 25, was charged with two counts of being concerned with the supply of crack cocaine and two counts of being concerned with the supply of diamorphine.
Nadeem, Ali and the 17-year-old were all set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today to face the charges with Mahmood set to be produced at court next week by the prison service.
A fifth man has been released on bail while we carry out further enquiries.
