A man from Birmingham is to stand trial after he was charged with attempted murder.

Osama Adam, 31, was charged following a stabbing in Erdington High Street on 20 June.

In addition to attempted murder, Adam, of Johnson Road, Birmingham, was also charged with possession of a knife and possession of an offensive weapon.

Adam appeared before magistrates in Birmingham on 22 June and will appear again at Birmingham Crown Court on 19 July.
