More suspect images released following Bordesley Green disorder

Bordesley Green, August 20, 2024 – West Midlands Police have released further images of individuals they wish to speak to in connection with a disorder that occurred earlier this month in Bordesley Green. The incident took place on the evening of Monday, August 5, and involved a serious assault on a man, as well as significant damage to a local pub and a vehicle.

As part of their ongoing investigation, the police have identified additional individuals who may have been involved in the events that night. Dedicated officers have been assigned to the case and have already made progress, including the arrest and charging of a teenager in connection with the disorder.

The investigation remains active, with officers continuing to review all available material, including CCTV footage and witness statements, in their effort to trace all those involved. The police urge anyone with information or who may recognize the individuals in the released images to come forward.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated, “We are committed to ensuring that all those responsible for the disorder are brought to justice. The safety and well-being of the Bordesley Green community remain our top priority.”
