Three individuals have been charged with forced marriage following a police operation in Birmingham, where a young woman was safeguarded.
Two women, aged 53 and 36, along with a 53-year-old man, were arrested last Thursday, 7th November.
They appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today, 11th November, and have been remanded in custody pending their next court appearance.
West Midlands Police reaffirmed their commitment to protecting victims of forced marriage and pursuing offenders.
