A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Bashir Mohamed, who was fatally stabbed in Ladywood, Birmingham, in April 2021.
Adil Iqbal, from Aston, was arrested on 14 November in Shylton Croft in connection with the killing of 26-year-old Mr Mohamed. He has since been charged with murder and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today.
Three men were previously convicted of manslaughter following an earlier trial, but police have continued their investigation into the tragic incident.
Detectives remain committed to pursuing justice for Mr Mohamed’s family and ensuring all those involved are held accountable.

The family of a man who was stabbed to death in Ladywood have paid tribute to him as a ‘strong pillar of the community’, as detectives charged a second man with his murder.
Bashir Mohamed, 26, was found critically injured in Shyltons Croft, Ladywood, just before 4.20am on 22 April.
He sadly died at the scene from a stab wound to his arm.
