Royal Mail Urges Early Posting for Christmas Deliveries

Royal Mail has announced the final dates for sending letters and parcels to ensure delivery before Christmas.

With the festive season in full swing, Royal Mail is reminding customers to post early to avoid the last-minute rush. Adjusted delivery and collection schedules mean senders must act quickly to guarantee their items arrive in time for Christmas celebrations.

Royal Mail said: “Beat the festive rush and get all your letters and parcels in the post on time. Allow plenty of time for posting, especially for international deliveries.”

Last Posting Dates for Christmas:

  • Wednesday 18 December: 2nd Class, 2nd Class Signed For
  • Friday 20 December: 1st Class, 1st Class Signed For, Royal Mail Tracked 48®
  • Saturday 21 December: Royal Mail Tracked 24®
  • Monday 23 December: Special Delivery Guaranteed®

Customers are encouraged to send their items as soon as possible to avoid delays during this busy time.
