A man has been charged after a firearm was found in a car in West Bromwich.
The revolver was found in the centre console of a Renault Megane on Nicholls Street shortly before 8pm on 15 June.
Both the car and the gun have been recovered for forensic examination.
Nathan Stewart was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate, possession of ammunition and possession of a prohibited weapon.
The 29-year-old, of Nicholls Street, West Bromwich is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (17 June).
