Police are appealing for information following a fire in the Balsall Heath area of Birmingham on Monday (22 April).
Officers were called after fire had broken out at a disused building on Clifton Road shortly before 1pm.
West Midlands Fire Service attended and a nearby school was safely evacuated while crews dealt with the fire.
At this stage, no one is believed to have been injured. Officers remained at the scene with fire crews who still continue to assess the damage and make the site secure.
Enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of the fire but police suspect it may have been started deliberately.
Two 16-year-old boys were arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and have been released on bail while officers investigate.
