The number of new cases in the city continues to increase.

 

Weekly report: 7th November to 13th November 2020.

These statistics represent the first full week of the current lockdown and it is too soon for the full impact. The number of new cases in the city continues to increase.

The testing rate has risen and so has the percentage of tests that are positive. There is plenty of available testing capacity at drive-through sites and at local walk-through sites. Also, access to postal testing kits is good.

Much of the spread of Covid-19 happens in the household. There are ways we can all reduce spread at home. People who follow the simple advice at www.germdefence.org are
less likely to catch Covid-19.

Finally, a reminder to isolate if you have symptoms, leaving home only to get tested.  Continue to isolate while waiting for the test result. Contacts of cases must isolate for the
full 14 days.
