West Midlands Police are appealing for the public’s assistance following an assault on a man in his 80s at the One Stop Shopping Centre car park in Perry Barr.
The incident occurred on 6 September, shortly before 3pm, when the elderly man was attacked by two men in the car park located on Walsall Road. The suspects fled the scene immediately after the assault.
Fortunately, the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. However, police are keen to trace the attackers and have released an image in the hopes that someone who was in the area at the time might recognise the individuals.
Officers are conducting further enquiries in the vicinity and are particularly interested in hearing from drivers who may have dashcam footage of the two suspects, believed to have been riding an e-bike at the time.
