The grieving family of a man killed after being struck by a car in Birmingham have paid a heartfelt tribute, describing him as “a loving son, father, brother and nephew who was everything to us.”
Lee Baker, aged 28, tragically died after being hit by a car on Ormscliffe Road in Rednal shortly before 5.10pm on Monday, 21 July. He suffered serious injuries and sadly passed away later in hospital.
West Midlands Police have confirmed that two men, both aged 28, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody as detectives continue their investigation. Officers have also arrested a third man, aged 29, on suspicion of murder. He, too, remains in custody for questioning.
In a statement released through the police, Lee’s devastated family said:
“Lee was a loving son, father, brother and nephew. He was everything to us and will be sadly missed. He was loved by everyone.”
The family have asked for privacy as they come to terms with their loss.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
