Dreaming of a Kardashian lifestyle? Shoppers can get one step closer to that LA dream thanks to Aldi. The supermarket has created an incredible superfood smoothie to rival Kourtney Kardashian’s famous Keto shake (she’s been drinking it for years!)
Aldi’s superfood smoothie is packed with delicious chunks of frozen Four Seasons Avocado Chunks (£1.59, 300g), kale and raspberries – and is perfect for those embarking on a keto diet this February! It’s avo-thing needed for a filling and nourishing snack, whether drunk as a healthy breakfast alternative, post workout refiller (like Kourtney herself) or working from home refresher!
Kale, Avocado, Coconut Oil & Raspberry Smoothie Recipe Ingredients
100g Kale leaves, trimmed of any tough stalks
2 tbsp coconut oil, softened
200g fresh or frozen raspberries
200g Frozen Avocado Chunks
400ml unsweetened soy milk (or cows milk)
Juice of 1 lime
2 tbsp honey
12 ice cubes
Place all the ingredients into a smoothie maker or liquidiser and blend until smooth. Divide between 2 tumblers and serve at once.
Aldi’s handy Avocado Chunks couldn’tbe easierto add to a smoothie – or tacos, guacamole or even a cake! Simply remove the required amount of avocado from packaging, pop on a plate, and cover lightly. Defrost for a minimum of 2 – 3 hours at room temperature, or in the fridge overnight.
Avocado is renowned for its heart-healthy fats, making it a fabulous addition to a ketogenic diet. Low in net carbs, avocados provide an array of other important nutrients, including vitamin K, folate, vitamin C, and potassium. Avo-piece of that!
Aldi’s Avocado Chunks are part of Aldi’s frozen smoothies range, which also includes Frozen Oat Smoothie (£1.19, 500g), a gluten free and vegan friendly bag of delicious blended oats. Perfect to pop straight in the blender with a selection of fruit and veg (fresh or frozen) – and whizz up a smoothie in no time.
