A man has been charged following a spate of armed robberies across Birmingham.

Nolhan Amegnisse, aged 20, was arrested yesterday (16 May), after extensive work from officers following a spate of robberies in gambling shops across Birmingham.

He was charged with three robberies and an attempted robbery, as well as possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a bladed article, and possession of drugs with intent to supply.

He was appearing before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today.
