A man will appear before Birmingham magistrates this morning following the death of a man in Nechells on Thursday evening (21 Jan).
A collision between a BMW and a Toyota Aygo happened around 8.55 pm on Lichfield Road.
Sadly a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and two men, both 26, from the Aygo were taken to hospital with serious injuries. One remains in a critical condition and the other is stable.
Florin Marin, aged 32 from Birchfield Road, Aston, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision, and causing death by driving whilst driving uninsured.
A 27-year-old woman arrested at the same time has been released under investigation.
