A man has been jailed for more than seven years after we seized three guns and ammunition following a swoop on his Birmingham home.
Police recovered two pistols and a revolver after a raid at Mohammed Sajad’s address in Bordesley Green in May.
They were concealed in shoe boxes and a rucksack and further searches resulted in cartridges and bullets being seized.
Sajad pleaded guilty to offences of possessing a prohibited weapon and ammunition without a certificate.
The 40-year-old of Norton Crescent was jailed for seven-and-a-half years at Birmingham Crown Court last Wednesday (12 August).
