Police have charged a boy with murder after a teenager was stabbed in Birmingham city centre earlier this year.
The 16-year-old has been charged with the murder of Muhammad Hassam Ali, aged 17, in Victoria Square on 20 January.
The teenager was arrested in January, and has been on police bail while our investigation has continued. He was charged yesterday.
He will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
A second boy, aged 15, was charged with murder in the days after the attack and remains in custody awaiting trial.
