Police Appeal for Witnesses After Knife-Point Robbery at Birmingham Supermarket

West Midlands Police are appealing to the public for information following a robbery at a supermarket on Aston Lane, Birmingham, which occurred on the evening of December 11 last year. The incident took place shortly after 8:40 pm, when a man entered the store and selected several items, including alcohol and bread.

According to police reports, the man paid only for the bread before attempting to leave the store with the unpaid alcohol. When confronted by a staff member, the suspect allegedly brandished a knife, made threats, and fled the scene with the stolen goods.

Authorities have released a description of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognises him or has information about the incident to come forward. Detective Inspector John Smith stated, “This was a frightening experience for the staff involved, and we are determined to identify and apprehend the individual responsible.
