Police are appeal following serious collision in Kings Heath

Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in Kings Heath.

It happened in Alcester Road South, near Woodthorpe Road junction, just before 6.15 pm yesterday (13 June).

A man in his 80s was taken to hospital with serious injuries which could be life-changing.

The lorry driver remained at the scene and is helping with our enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time, particularly anybody with dash cam footage.
