A serious collision occurred in Heath Way, Hodge Hill, involving a motorbike and a car just before 2pm today.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the incident, while no one else was injured.

It was reported that the motorbike, which had been stolen, failed to stop for officers before the collision.

The road was closed, and people were asked to use alternative routes.

As per normal procedure in such cases, a referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
