An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was discovered with head injuries in Smethwick.
Police were called to St Paul’s Road shortly after 1.30am on Tuesday, 25 March, where they found a woman in her 50s with serious injuries. While her condition is stable, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers arrested a man on Tuesday morning in connection with the incident.
Jonan Walker, 18, from Smethwick, has been charged with attempted murder and was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (27 March).
Police inquiries are ongoing.
