Police have arrested three men in connection with a shooting and recovered a gun after executing a warrant in Birmingham this morning (Sun).

One man, aged 48 and two men, both aged 45, were arrested after firearms officers carried out a warrant at an address on Hamstead Road.

All three men are currently in detention as we continue with our enquiries.

The arrests relate to an incident in the early hours of Thursday morning (Feb 1) when a man was presented at hospital with gun shot injuries. The man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
