Three teenagers and a man have pleaded guilty to their involvement in a violent attack on a 15-year-old boy in Alum Rock, Birmingham.

The boy was stabbed several times near Morris Park at around 8.45pm on 7 March. His injuries were serious but not life threatening.

Following an investigation by the Major Crime Team, three teenagers – one aged 16 and two aged 17 – were arrested and later admitted to grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.

Idris Urfan, 22, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender.

All four have been remanded in custody and will be sentenced later this year.

Detective Inspector Francis Nock said: “This was a shocking and violent attack. Our team worked hard to identify the suspects and bring them before the courts. We will not tolerate such violence on our streets.”
