Two individuals are in custody today following the seizure of a substantial quantity of Class A drugs in Birmingham.
In the early hours, officers conducted a stop and search on a vehicle, leading to the discovery of approximately 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs. The male driver, aged in his 30s, was promptly arrested. During the search, officers found a portion of the drugs concealed within a hat, along with a smaller quantity of suspected Class B drugs.
The investigation quickly led officers to execute a warrant at a property in Handsworth. At the address, police uncovered an additional 200 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, along with a significant sum of cash and a further amount of suspected Class B substances. A woman in her 20s was found at the property and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
