Two men have been arrested for theft of a motor vehicle in Birmingham.

The two men, aged 20 and 29, were arrested yesterday after a car was stolen in Parkfield Road, Alum Rock, Birmingham.

Officers quickly attended the scene and the two men were located in the stolen nearby.

The 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of Class B drugs, while the 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and theft.

Police said:

We take all forms of vehicle crime seriously, and it is a priority to tackle this incredibly distressing crime.
