Two Men Arrested After Firearm Incident During Birmingham Disorder

Birmingham Police have arrested two men following a violent disorder involving weapons in the Stechford area on Thursday afternoon. Authorities were called to Church Lane shortly before 3:30 PM on March 27 after reports of a disturbance linked to occupants of three vehicles, during which a firearm was discharged.
The suspects, aged 21 and 27, sustained injuries during the incident. One man was treated for a gunshot wound, while the other suffered a laceration. Both were taken to the hospital and later arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
In a press release, police confirmed the incident involved weapons and urged witnesses or individuals with relevant footage—including dashcam or mobile phone recordings—to come forward. Investigators are working to piece together the events and have reassured the community of increased patrols in the area to address concerns over public safety.
