Two men have been charged with violent disorder and possession of a knife as part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Mohammed Khan in Walsall.
Aamir Khan, 31, and Mohammed Amarn Khan, 25, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday) for their initial hearing. Both defendants have been remanded and will face further proceedings at Birmingham Crown Court at a later date.
The charges stem from a violent altercation on Bloxwich Road on 17 March, which led to the death of Mohammed Khan. Five other men have already been charged with his murder.
West Midlands Police continue to investigate the broader disorder linked to the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
