Appeal after elderly brothers are assaulted in their Tipton home

Do you know these three men?

Police want to talk to them after two elderly brothers were seriously assaulted in their home in Waterloo Street, Tipton on Thursday 30th April. At around 9pm, three men claiming to be police officers knocked on the door and told the victims that their van was being broken into.

After forcing their way into the property, the two men were punched, hit with a bat and threatened with a knife, as the offenders searched the house before eventually fleeing.Both men required hospital treatment after suffering broken noses.

The suspects are described as white and between 5ft 10ins – 6ft tall. One of them had a short black beard.
