Police have formally identified the body discovered in Binley Woods as that of missing woman Reanne Coulson, aged 34.
Reanne was last seen in May, prompting a large-scale investigation into her disappearance. Following new information, officers located a woman’s body in Binley Woods on 27 June. Today, the body has been confirmed as Reanne Coulson.
Warwickshire Police say they are continuing to support Reanne’s family during this “awful time” and further enquiries are underway to establish the cause of her death.
A 42-year-old man has appeared in court charged with Reanne’s murder, while a second man, aged 38, has been charged with assisting an offender. Both individuals have been remanded in custody.
Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, who is leading the investigation, said:
“We are continuing to do all we can to support Reanne’s family at this awful time, and our thoughts remain firmly with them.
The investigation is continuing and I still really want to hear from anyone with information that might help us as we continue to work tirelessly to get answers for Reanne’s family.”
Police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward.
