Two people were arrested in connection with Kevin’s murder and have been released on bail.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information given anonymously to the charity that leads to the conviction of those linked to the murder of Kevin Lomas.

The reward is available for three months and is due to expire on 29, July 2024

CCTV footage of Kevin’s last movements has been issued by the police.

Alan Edwards, Crimestoppers West Midlands Regional Manager, said: “We are offering this reward as we hope it will encourage someone with key information to come forward to share what they know.

“Kevin is described by his family as ‘someone who would give you a helping hand’ if it was needed. Our charity would like to help Kevin’s heartbroken family see justice.

“If you prefer not to speak directly to the authorities, you can stay completely anonymous.

“Crimestoppers has been taking crime information since we began over 35 years ago. Every day over 2,000 people contact us online and over the phone. The information we receive makes a huge difference in keeping communities safe. Together, we can get justice for Kevin and potentially stop somebody else from coming to harm.”

Kevin’s family said: “Considering you were quite shy when you were young, you embodied everything in life that was bright.

“If anyone felt low, Kevin would lift you. If you needed help Kev would give you a helping hand.

“He just wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life as he wanted to do so himself. Tragically this was taken from him. Our poor brother.”
