Police have charged a man with the murder of 31-year-old Gary Warner who died in hospital yesterday (31 October) after being stabbed in the chest.
***** aged 20 from ********* Sutton Coldfield was arrested last night and will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court ’ tomorrow morning charged with Mr Warner’s murder.
Has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Mr Warner’s family have released this statement: “We are devastated at our loss, Gary was a kind loving brother, son, nephew, uncle and friend. He had a zest for life and everyone who knew him loved him. We want to thank all our friends and family for their support not only to us but to the investigation. The family would now like to be left to grieve in private.”

Detective Inspector Wes Martin, from the force’s homicide unit, said: “We are still appealing for anyone who saw the silver Skoda Yeti between 4am and 5am in and around Falcon Lodge to get in touch.
“Our thoughts remain with Mr Warner’s family at this very difficult time.”
