Police have tonight charged a man with trying to kill a woman and her seven-month-old baby in Tipton.
Police were called to a property on Mansion Drive, in Tipton, just before 12.30am yesterday (Thursday) to reports of a domestic incident.
A 37-year-old woman remains in hospital in a stable condition where she is being treated for stab wounds.
Her baby boy remains in hospital in a critical condition, having suffered multiple injuries.
Aamer Araf, aged 32, of Mansion Drive, will appear in custody before Wolverhampton magistrates court tomorrow (Saturday) to face two charges of attempted murder.
