Detectives investigating the death of a cyclist following a hit and run in Washwood Heath, Birmingham last month, have released details of a man they wish to speak to.

Kashif Khan, aged 24 and from Birmingham, is wanted in connection with the collision that took place on Thursday 30 July.

Andell Goulbourne, aged 59, was hit by a grey BMW M135i as he was riding along Washwood Heath Road.

Following the release of CCTV images last week, three men have been voluntarily interviewed.

Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I want to appeal directly to Kashif Khan to come forward so that we can establish what happened that night. I would also appeal to anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.

“The response from the public following the release of CCTV images was excellent and I would like to thank everyone that got in touch and continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact us.

“I want to also ask people to not speculate on social media. This does nothing to assist us or the family of Andell during this really difficult time.”
