Pair remanded in prison over armed carjacking

Two teenagers have been remanded in prison after Police charged them over their alleged role in a knifepoint carjacking in Birmingham.

Daniel Bryan and Deniro Powell-Anderson are accused of being among a group of men who threatened a man with Zombie-style knives before making off with his Audi A4.

The robbery happened in Upper Sutton Street, Aston, on the evening of 13 October.

Our detectives arrested Bryan, aged 18, and 19-year-old Powell-Anderson in the early hours of Friday morning (13 Nov).

They were both charged with robbery and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court the following day.

Bryan, from Handsworth and Powell-Anderson from Erdington were both remanded into prison.

They are next set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on 14 December.
