Three arrested in connection with Birmingham shooting

Police have arrested three people in connection with a shooting that happened on Shaw Hill Road, Washwood Heath in April.

Shots were fired at a car on Shaw Hill Road on 30 April and a man was treated in hospital for gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg.

A car was spotted by officers yesterday evening (5 May) that was suspected of being involved in the incident and was brought to a stop on Linkswood Road, Birmingham at around 8.20pm.

Three men aged 27, 22 and 19 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are currently being questioned.
