Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Thomas Rogers have arrested another man on suspicion of murder.

The 32-year-old suspect was detained in the Haltwhistle area of Northumberland in the early hours of today (27 August).

He will now be questioned by our homicide team in connection with the death of 26-year-old Thomas on Saturday.

He was found seriously injured near the junction of Bristol Road and Mill Pool Way, Bournbrook, and sadly died at hospital soon after his arrival.

Two men, aged 22 and 30, have already been charged with murder and our enquiries remain on-going.
