Two arrested during Project Guardian patrols in Washwood Heath

Police are conducting patrols in Washwood Heath today alongside officers from Project Guardian.

To date, two individuals have been apprehended and officers have seized suspected class A drugs and a meat cleaver.

A man in his 40s was arrested under suspicion of possession with intent to supply, and a 16-year-old boy has been taken into custody on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

Officers are now searching for a property in connection with these arrests.
