Police have launched a fresh plea for information after a pedestrian hit by a car in Birmingham last month has now died.
Alan Worgan suffered serious injuries after being struck by a VW Golf in Dolphin Lane, Acocks Green, at around 12.30pm on 17 November.
The 45-year-old sadly died in hospital on Friday (4 December) and WMP are supporting the family during this distressing time.
In a statement his family said: “Alan was a beloved son, dad, husband, uncle, brother and grandad. He was one of the nicest and genuine people you could ever meet and would do anything for anyone.
“He was a very hard working man, and he will be sadly missed by all his loved ones and friends.”
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping us with our enquiries.
