Man charged with attempted murder following Birmingham stabbing

Police have charged a man with attempted murder and other offences after a man was stabbed in Birmingham.

Walid Mohammed, aged 27, from Handsworth, has also been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife following the stabbing which took place on Monday.

He was remanded into custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (Thurs).

A 45-year-old man was taken to hospital where he has been receiving treatment for stab injuries. He remains in a stable condition.
