Police have charged a man with murder after a woman was found with fatal knife wounds in #Birmingham yesterday.
Shannon Stanley suffered stab injuries at the property in Mount Pleasant #SmallHeath at 12.30 am and was sadly pronounced dead.
One of our Family Liaison officers is supporting her loved ones at this tragic time and they’ve asked us to issue a tribute to Shannon, aged 27, on their behalf.
It reads: “Shannon was a much-loved daughter, sister, niece, and cousin. She had many friends that also loved her dearly.
“She will be missed by us all and we ask as a family that we are allowed to grieve privately at this sad time.”
Police arrested Pablo Hoad, also aged 27, from an address near the scene at around 1 am on Tuesday morning and he’s now been charged with murder.
Head remains in police custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.
