Officers recovered 711 cannabis plants in the early hours of Sunday morning (12 June). Once the site was cleared and boarded up, three youths attempted to break into the building later that day. Police used the WM  drones team to help bring them to safety after they climbed onto the roof. The trio – aged 15, 18 and 25 – were arrested and later released without charge.

Enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible for the drugs and anyone with information.

Police understand this may be causing concern for the neighbourhood, further security has been added to the site to deter criminal activity and officers upped patrols in the area.
